Paintball is one of the most competitive and enjoyable sports that has caught the imagination of the Americans. Taking up this sport will be expensive and shall need to spend considerable amount of money to buy gears like guns, paints balls etc. If you wish to enjoy paintballing, without loosening your pocket much, you want to know how to make a paintball gun? And the following tips can help you to make a paintball gun for yourself.

Get the following requirements:

1. Two 1″ PVC tees (Mark one as Z and the other as Y. Straight ends of the tees can be marked as Z1 and Z2 and Y1 and Y2. Mark the perpendicular ends as Z3 and Z4)
2. One 1″ PVC (Your preferred length for the barrel)
3. One ¾” PVC barrel (equal to the above length).
4. 1″ PVC end cap
5. Two 1″ PVC elbows
6. ¾” PVC ball valve
7. ¾” PVC nipple
8. ¾” PVC reducer
9. A tire replacement valve

Primer, Plumber’s tape, Plumber’s saw, Cement, Glue and nail driller etc.,

First you cut 2 pieces of 1” PVC measuring a foot each and ensure they are of equal length and insulate them with plumber’s tape.

Now for assembling the structure attach 2 PVC elbows to one foot long piece. Use primer and cement to join the elbows. Attach two PVC tees to the other piece using cement and primer. Mark the end of the tee as Z3 and the other one as Y1.

Connect these two pieces with cement and primer and you will have a box shape in your hand.

Attach a nipple to the tee Y2 and screw the ball valve. Then fix the barrel in to the ball valve. Drill a hole big enough to fit the tire valve in the end cap and attach the valve using plenty of glue.

Next step is to cut a piece of 1” PVC about 9” long and cement it to the end of tee marked Z2. Now the PVC you just attached can be cemented to the end cap. Your paintballing gun is ready. You can use it after 2 or 3 days.
