  1. The silicone tray works great. loved them so much we bought 2 more for a total of 4. The size of the squares is great, we usually mix 2 different items together for great flavor items for our daughter, she loves the many combination for fruit, vegetables and meat that we have been giving here.

  3. This product makes the freezing food process more time consuming. You cannot pop the cubes out directly after taking it from the freezer, instead you have to wait until they are a little defrosted and then loosen each cube and push them out from the bottom. The first time I used the tray, I did not wait until the cubes were slightly defrosted when loosening and went right through the side of the tray. Waiting for the cubes to defrost enough to get them out is frustrating and increases the risk of bacteria growth.

i put this on my baby registry and my mom got it and then also bought the Keep Baby Food Fresh Containers 12-Pack and i like those much better!!! the silicone tray will work for watermelon ice cubes or something fun like that but the size of each cup makes it useless after they start eating more than a couple spoonfuls (maybe that just didn’t last long in my house since i have had very big, very hungry little boys?). i just pureed some sweet potato as a practice run since my little one isn’t going to be eating anything “solid” for 5 more months, but i like to add pureed vegetables to my older kids’ meals (ala jessica seinfeld’s book: Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Get Your Kids Eating Good Foods) plus they like pureed sweet potato as a side anyway…

either way i took the second one of these trays off my baby registry soon after i saw it, and once my little guy starts eating solids i plan to just buy another 12 pack of the cups… way more convenient

Hard, no very hard to remove frozen food.. Why they didn’t do it with air space between so you could push out each cube separate, is a mystery to me. The food would freeze faster that way as well. I wish I had not bought it…
