this mobile is no good. How do you think that this could entertain a baby?

    The concept is great!

    The product sucks!!

    The following are lacking:

    1. Thin and cheap look to it. If you are gifting it to new parents, it would be hard for them to comprehend that this is not something you paid more than a dollar or two at the local “house of crap”.

    2. For the price, there is no mobility (nothing “rotates”).

    3. No music.

    4. Easily breakable.

    5. Looks like someone’s 10th grade science project than a commercially available toy.

    6. You can easily make your wife mad – trying to explain why you are not a “cheapskate”.

  3. ohai my baby doesn’t stare at this because it does not move.

If this spun it would probably get more attention, also she hardly lays awake in her crib where it is mounted at all, this could certainly be the issue

If your baby is frequently awake and stares at things that do not mechanically rotate this for you.

I love the idea of this mobile. It’s so hard to find a cool, educational mobile that is really designed for baby’s development, but I was shocked at how poor the quality is. All of the cards were cracked and bent out of the package, the construction is very flimsy, and the arc is so shallow that it doesn’t hang far enough into the crib. I had to put it on the shortest setting so that it doesnt hang right right down in baby’s face (I have a standard US-size crib). I bought this mobile based on the overall Amazon ratings which is high, but seeing as almost everyone has had the same complaints, I dont know why it has received so many stars. I guess you get what you pay for, and the price is good. I wont be replacing it because mobiles are used for such a short time anyway, but I am rather disapointed.

This mobile has been a valuable addition to my daughters play toys. My only complaint about the mobile is that it isn’t very attractive and doesn’t play music, it just attaches to the crib to be hung over your childs head. The great part about this mobile is that you can start off with white/black/red colors and shapes and then as your child gets older you can switch to the primary colors and shapes once they are able to distinguish the difference. This is good because they shouldn’t get bored easily like with other mobiles where it does the same thing day in and day out. The other bonus is it is very easy to take on and off your crib so you can take it with you or attach to other surfaces! You can also take off the cards to use them as just that, flash cards for your baby while they are on their playmat on in the car! If they have a favorite you can always bring it along! My daughter just loves the little boys face!! I would recommend having this mobile and another musical one so you can switch it up to keep things interesting for your little one! Enjoy!
