We loved the mobile when we got it – awesome songs, beatuful design….but we went through two brand new packs of batteries in less than twenty minutes, and thus we returned the item (couldn’t afford to replace the batteries 2-3 times every day). It is too bad that the battery life is horrible, because other than that, we loved the mobile.

I liked the item, the only thing is that it only attaches to the crib and current my baby is co-sleeping, therefore I returned it since I can’t attach it anywhere else. I recommend that you check out other products by tiny love, since they have ones that have attachable links.

I am listening to this mobile right now and imagining a black and white movie with a sad clown crying by the seaside. The music is horrible! Horrible! And the attachment mechanism barely fits our crib which converts into a full size bed. AND it eats batterie like mad. The only good thing about this mobile is that it was easy to assemble. If I hadn’t paid full price for this, and thrown the box away because it was supposed to be a “Santa” gift, and I have an older child, I would’ve returned this immediately. Seriously, how much slower and sadder can music be? Ugh. My daughter tolerates it, but I wouldn’t say she loves it.

We got this for our crib, which is one of the 3-way cribs (Amish handmade: baby crib, toddler, bed, converts to full size adult guest bed later). Unfortunately the attachment module on this mobile doesn’t fit any of the sides of our crib: there is a lip on the top of the music/nightlight base that does not have enough distance to the big plastic screw/holder disc thing–it’s only about 4 inches or so, and all of our crib sides have hefty 5+ inch top rails. It probably works for most other regular cribs people might buy from stores, but we’re going to have to build a little rack for it to attach to that will tighten against our crib rails and hold it in place. Luckily we’re crafty folks–if we weren’t we would have to return it and not get to use this nice mobile.
Upshot: great mobile, but check your crib rail dimensions to make sure it will be easy for you to use!

I like this mobile, but had the Symphony in Motion version 2 years ago, and liked that one much better. It had a remote, more control over the volume, and I liked the colors much better. I have not had a problem with the battery at all, but the sound volume choices are not ideal. It would be better if there were a couple more or a slide. My 2 month old seems to like it. It can entertain him for 20 minutes at a time if he is in the right mood.
